I found DrPearsall a very warm down to earth person. I had a trab procedure done on Monday, I was naturally nervous , but we had great music playing. Beach boys, Lulu, Frank Sunatra and many more. This brought back memories of my going to discos and parties with the family. In the end I realised I was tapping my fingers in time with the music, and unaware what was taking place
I think the idea of enjoyable music a great help.
I think Dr Pearsall’s idea is a great one and recommend it.

Eye surgery can be so daunting and we try hard to make the experience as "pleasurable" as possible. I just love music - it has the power to move and change our emotions and I find it particularly important in occupying my patients and making them feel calm. So many of them tell me of the memories each song brings.. so I am glad you "enjoyed" yourself. The playlist is handpicked and created just for my patients..
Thank you and your team for the prompt and efficient cataract treatments that you undertook at Optegra clinic in Colindale, by referral from NHS.
I have not experienced any after-effects and my eyesight is much improved.
I suffer with Parkinson’s disease and was trembling throughout the surgical procedure, but there was no need for anxiety. My treatment was relatively quick, painless and appears to have been successful for both eyes.
I would recommend you to other potential patients.
It is not so easy to stay still and calm but you did well. So good to hear that all is well and we are certainly grateful of your thanks, reassurance to others and recommendations.
Very professional and at the same time friendly Doctor who was able to reassure me that my concerns were appropriately assessed.
Very pleased to recommend Ms Pearsall
It can be daunting when going for a medical consultation - you really are so reliant on the medical team that are there to support you - so I can assure you that we try hard to make you feel as relaxed as possible. :)
Excellent advice, really thorough & went out of her way to help me which was very kind!
Happy to guide and help any which way - sometimes when you are faced with that mountain of information it really is difficult to find the "wood for the trees"
I saw Ms Pearsall at Whipps Cross Hospital in October 2018. After a detailed consultation it was decided that I would have glaucoma surgery ( Trabeculectomy).
Ms Pearsall operated on me in early December. The operation was a great success.
This is a fairly complex procedure that also requires many follow up appointments.
Ms Pearsall is extremely knowledgeable and I had total confidence in her during the actual operation and the follow up appointments where stitches need to be removed.
Always listened to my concerns and re-assured me.
Explained the pre and post operation process.
I always felt in good hands.
Highly recommended
Fab-u-lous!! great pleasure to look after you and to walk you through that journey - sight is sooo important and getting it right especially on the detail is critical to me.
